Dewey Muirhead, at 101, had the immense pleasure of being presented with his first great-great-grandchild, Millie. The WWII vet, who served in the Army Air Corps and was stationed in Germany, France and Belgium, married his wife Inez right before his wartime service. The couple didn’t know if he’d return alive, yet Dewey did, and they enjoyed 79 years of marriage before Inez passed in 2021. Dewey still lives on his own, with family nearby, and cherishes all of them, including the newest addition of baby Millie!
